Dynamic Character

"If he say so, may his pernicious soul Rot half a grain a day! He lies to the heart."

This quote from Emilia shows that she is a dynamic character in this story. When she is first with her husband, she is very passive and quiet. She doesn't try to stop him from making fun of women; she just stands there. Now she has become emotional over the death of Desdemona and she is no longer passive. She calls her husband a liar and wishes that he rots for what he has done. She becomes very dramatic and angry with Iago. Emilia then calls out her husband for lying and then he stabs her (what a surprise). Their relationship went from being very passive to one killing the other.
